Tales of an Asia Sailor 
Have a print of the last painting of the USS Newport News followed by USS Rowan (bracketed by 105 MM shore battery shells) during the Raid of Haiphong Harbor. Was a crew member of the Rowan and remember that night well, 27 Aug 1972, Operation Lion’s Den. A very Dicey night.
