bullfuck – A slurry of flour and water used to thicken soups and stews. Usually used as a shortcut method instead of properly using a roux.
I once saw a CS2 add the drippings from a roasting pan and half a cup of Beef bouillon base to three gallons of black coffee, ‘bullfuck’ it, and sell it as beef gravy.
Not gonna lie… I’d probably eat it…

My mother used to make a slurry like that to thicken blackberries and new potatoes. I can’t remember what she called but it wasn’t that.

Did that once back in 1970 on the USS Lawrence DDG4, I was a CS2 back then.

Gravy with coffee added is something we do in southern cooking all the time. Leftover morning coffee is never wasted. 🌻💜⚓️
